Ecocrackenback is conveniently located within Crackenback Valley, nestled amongst the local flora and fauna, these self-contained chalets are the ideal base for you to make the most out of your Snowy Mountains adventure.

These nature based eco sustainable buildings include cross ventilated living spaces, raked ceilings with fans and offer abundant natural light. All chalets enjoy polished concrete heated floors and clean-heat ethanol fireplaces for those snowy winter nights.

Enjoy the rural setting through the large floor to ceiling windows and back deck while taking advantage of the weber BBQ and outdoor dining setting in the summer months.

Only 10 minutes drive from Jindabyne, 20 minutes to Thredbo and 10 minutes to the Ski Tube (winter only) which takes you to Perisher, and then onto Charlotte's Pass via Oversnow transport. The Resorts offer plenty of options for a fun day on the Snow.A heated drying rack in the entry way provides a convenient way to dry your ski gear after a long day on the slopes.

Each self-contained chalet is a perfect fit for families of 4 or 2 couples. Ecocrackenback 7 has the bedding configuration of 1 king bed & 2 singles beds. There are 18 chalets on offer at Ecocrackenback so please check multiple chalets for your chosen dates.

Ecocrackenback chalets offer instantaneous gas hot water, wifi, communal laundry and are fully appointed with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Smeg convection microwave/grill, double hotplates, weber BBQ & TV.
Sustainability practices include: Worm Farm System for grey water management and food waste, rainwater collection, recycling bins provided, taps and showers are water-efficient, walls and ceilings insulated, double glazed windows, solar panels, green spaces on property.

Beautiful natural enviroment

Had a great family holiday. This was our 2nd stay here and we love it. Its a comfortable base that is relaxing, well appointed and its great sitting on the deck watching the roo's and other wildlife having a drink and conversation

Chalets were well appointed and spacious for a family of four. Loved the underfloor heating and the natural surrounds. Great location for either Thredbo or Perisher ski fields and convenient drive to Jindabyne

Quiet and snug, close to slopes

Lovely quiet location some road noise not too noticeable from chalet no 7. The chalet was extremely warm, you didn't event really need the ethanol fire going as the under floor heating was nearly enough but best to keep doors open during night so any heat comes in to the bedrooms! Kitchen was enough to suit needs however would have been better with a bigger stove and a real oven than a microwave one. Very cosy place, enough room for fam of 4. Drying rack for ski gear was great. Easy to checkin and out makes it quick. Replacement ethanol had to get from communal laundry easy enough to arrange. Close to slopes and beautiful surrounds close to the distillery too.

We love these cabins, this is our second visit but this time with kids. Well appointed and plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Comfortable and toasty warm with kangaroos to greet us in the morning, we'll definitely be back.

What amazing value for money. The habitats are beautifully designed and well furnished. Powerful hot shower, such comfortable beds, windows everywhere often looking out over kangaroos. So peaceful yet walking distance to the Wildbrumby Distillery and awesome Crackenback Farm Restaurant. A short drive to the resort at Lake Crackenback with all its activities and mountain bike trails. Our hosts were exceptional as well. We couldn't fault it and will certainly be back
