Summary

Ecocrackenback consists of 18 four star habitats nestled amongst the snow gums on 40 acres along the Alpine Way.

Description

Ecocrackenback is conveniently located within Crackenback Valley, nestled amongst the local flora and fauna, these self-contained chalets are the ideal base for you to make the most out of your Snowy Mountains adventure.

These nature based eco sustainable buildings include cross ventilated living spaces, raked ceilings with fans and offer abundant natural light. All chalets enjoy polished concrete heated floors and clean-heat ethanol fireplaces for those snowy winter nights.

Enjoy the rural setting through the large floor to ceiling windows and back deck while taking advantage of the weber BBQ and outdoor dining setting in the summer months.

Only 10 minutes drive from Jindabyne, 20 minutes to Thredbo and 10 minutes to the Ski Tube which takes you to Perisher and Charlotte's Pass (ski-tube operates in winter only) offers plenty of options for a fun day on the Snow. A heated drying rack in the entry way provides a convenient way to dry your ski gear after a long day on the slopes.

Each self-contained chalet is a perfect fit for families of 4 or 2 couples with the bedding configuration option of 1 king bed & 2 singles beds or 2 king beds. Please check specific chalet bedding configuration before making booking. There are 18 chalets on offer at Ecocrackenback so please check multiple chalets for your chosen dates.

Wonderful

Gorgeous, peaceful location, great accommodation and bush views, modern and super warm. Perfect peaceful retreat, we loved it.

A lovely weekend

Gwenda - 20th October 2020

Easy to pick up keys and to receive code for keys. Cottage was roomy and very warm. Great to have wildlife jumping around outside cottage. We took extra toilet paper as we were staying 3 nights. Dishwasher came in very handy. The cottages are spaced far enough apart and positioned to be fairly private. Short drive to Jindabyne , short walk to Wild Brumby Distillery and close enough to drive to Thredbo. Got to see quite a bit of snow. An all round nice weekend. Would recommend and stay here again

Fantastic place

We adored it, and we'll be back. Thank heaps, guys!

Great accomodation

Louise - 19th July 2019

Really comfortable accommodation. 2 adults & 2 children stayed in July school holidays and skies at Thredbo. We found kitchen fine for all of our needs, as we had brought easy/ pre-prepared meals with us). Just check your booking carefully. I hadn’t noticed our booking said 2 beds. They were unable to change one of the king beds into singles (which Is how I had presumed the bed configuration would be, because of the floor plan drawing on the website). Cue awkward moment when having to share with someone I’m not related to. But overall a really great place.

Stunning Location!!

Wonderful weekend escape

Mia - 15th November 2015

We stayed at Eco Crackenback for a weekend to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We loved the cabin, the beautiful surrounds and all the wildlife. Great location between Jindabyne and Thredbo. We will be back in the winter.

Excellent place & perfect location!

I have stayed here 4 times now. Very comfortable. Lovely heated floors and warm fireplace. Perfect kitchenette. Outstanding location across from Wild Brumby Distillery and close to Thredbo and the Ski Tube to Perisher.
